Regional-Scale Landslide Susceptibility Mapping Using Limited LiDAR-Based Landslide Inventories for Sisak-Moslavina County, Croatia

In this paper, for the first time, a regional-scale 1:100,000 landslide-susceptibility map (LSM) is presented Sisak-Moslavina County in Croatia. The spatial relationship between landslide occurrence and predictive factors (engineering geological units, relief, roughness, distance to streams) assessed using integration of statistically based frequency ratio (FR) into analytical hierarchy process (AHP). Due lack inventory county, LiDAR-based inventories are completed an area 132 km2. From 1238 landslides, 549 chosen calculate LSM 689 its verification. Additionally, landslides digitized from available maps reported via web portal “Report landslide” used county classified four susceptibility classes, covering 36% with very-high high 64% moderate low zones. approach, limited LiDAR data extrapolation correlation results entire encouraging primary regional-level studies, justifying cost-benefit ratio. Still, positioning polygons prerequires basic statistical analysis factors.
